Watercolor Paper Hearts - Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the newest May 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Celestial Wishes! This month's kit has some fun whimsical elements and happy watercolor papers! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images and lovely sentiments. There is also a fun embossing folder, lovely pattern papergems, and mini ink cubes...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For both these cards, I utilized some more of the beautiful pattern paper from the kit, this time cut in varying sizes of Nested Rounded Hearts. I used the same piece of paper, and just picked different sections of it, which gave a lovely natural variation between the hearts. I layered them up on white cardbases, adding liquid blue just to the centers of each one, leaving the edges to float free for a touch of dimension. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in the kit, using coordinating ink in Watermelon and Aegean, and cut out with the coordinating dies (not included in the kit, but available separately). Added the secondary sentiments, stamped on a strip of cardstock, and hand trimmed into a small banner shape. Finished off with some of the Warm Tone Dazzling Gems in the kit for the pink card, and the Cool Tones from a previous kit for the blue card. Here are more photos and close ups of these cards:

Rainbow Birthday - Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest May 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Celestial Wishes! This month's kit has some fun whimsical elements and happy watercolor papers! The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images and lovely sentiments. There is also a fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper, gems, and mini ink cubes...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I used some of the gorgeous pattern paper in the kit, and trimmed off 1/2 inch strips of a selection of them. I then layered them on a diagonal on my cardbase, in rainbow order. I stamped the larger sentiment in black ink, and then cut out with the coordinating die (not part of the kit, but available separately). I stamped a secondary sentiment directly on one of the paper strips, and then embellished with a few of the Warm Tone Dazzling Gems in the kit. This birthday card definitely looks like a party! Caring Thoughts - Pinkfresh Studio Craft Along Card

Good morning! Last year we started something new at Pinkfresh called Craft Along - we just finished the April Craft Along last night, and registration is now open for the next one! What is Craft Along? Well, it's basically a mini event, that is far more affordable and flexible for those who want community, crafting, and connection, but perhaps want the flexibility to use what they already have, or purchase a smaller bundle at a discount. We include alternatives to our chosen sets to give you all the options, and some previous month's attendees even came up with other fabulous options! You can always check out all our event options HERE for more info.

The event is through a private Zoom link - so you are able to chat, ask questions, and we can even see your lovely faces if you wish! You are (of course!) welcome to leave your camera off, and your sound muted as well if you are more comfortable with that. It has been so fun to be able to see some of your lovely faces as you crafted as well.

Since this was part of that event, I'm not going to share any details of how I created it - but I wanted to share some photos, and I've included a supply list at the bottom as well. I really love this card I created for the April Craft Along - and can't wait to share my May one with you all as well! We also have a bundle of supplies, so you can choose to use what you already own, or grab the bundle at a discount if you wish. The additional essentials we used are also available at a 10% discount (use code MAY24CA) if you don't have those in your stash and want to grab them - I've linked them below as well! We hope you will join us in the new year for this fun adventure and event! You can find all the details HERE for registering for the event, as well as the bundle HERE at a discount if you don't have the product or something similar you'd like to create with.

Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE in the Gallery created just for this release! And check out the graphic below to receive a FREE Groovy Happy Birthday die with any purchase and the coupon code below through April 21, 2024 - while supplies last (code expires at 11:59 PM EDT)!!!

I have two cards to share today - similar, but with two different ways to create a background using the same ink colors!

For the first card, I used the new Shimmering Starfall 3D embossing folder to create a background, then swiped 3 different colors of ink pads directly across the surface. It created some color all over, but especially accentuated the stars on the front. So fun! For the second one, I just swiped the ink colors across a panel of white cardstock, then added some additional texture with a slightly darker shade of each color. I then added some detail by stamping the tiny sparkly star pattern from the new Celestial Wishes stamp set with the darker ink shade for a tone on tone effect. I also added some white splatters with my Amsterdam ink. Then, I layered sentiments over the top of each card using Fancy Dad and Father Greetings Foil Transfer cards - they can be foiled, but they also look bold and fabulous just in black as I did them for these cards. The coordinating Fancy Father wafer die cuts out the large word perfectly, and I simply trimmed the smaller panels out with a paper trimmer. Finished off with a few Pawsitively Dazzling Gems in Cool Tones for a bit of simple sparkle! Here are more photos of each of these cards:

Butterfly Card Trio - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a trio of cards I created this week for a Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live. I used one of the newest releases, paired up with a very old die set! While I planned on making two cards, things came together so well, that I was able to create all 3 of these cards! You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch these cards come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I heat embossed the stamp set for Fluttering Butterflies in cream embossing powder - just a hint of a neutral color that was kind of fun! I then ink blended over the layers using different ink families in some fresh citrus tones. The leaves were a mix of turquoises and deep greens - love that color blend! I die cut all those lovely pieces, and then began assembling my cards. I used the Inverted Stitched Scallop Circle die to create two different windows for my card fronts, then used the negative pieces to create a bonus card! For that one, I used the Dotted Chevron coverplate die to add some texture to the background. I used a mix of white and cream cardstock - one of my favorite color combos. Sentiments were stamped in black from the same butterfly set, and also Artsy Floral and Vines and Roses. After the live, I finished off with some clusters of jewels in Glacier, Peach Fuzz, and Ballet Slipper for some sparkle! Here are some more photos of each of these cards up close:

Floral Pattern Paper Birthday Card Duo - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today to share a couple of birthday cards I made recently, featuring a couple of lovely sentiment stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp - paired up with one of my favorite things - pattern paper!

I started off with two pieces of pattern paper from Pinkfresh Sunshine on my Mind 6x6 paper pad. I trimmed the floral to an A2 size, then cut it diagonally in half to make it easy to split between the two cards. I trimmed the striped paper to an A2 width, then trimmed angled strips to tuck behind the floral paper to add some contrast, but not waste any more of the paper than needed. Then it was time to add some fun sentiments! I used the newer Birthday Basics stamp set with the coordinating dies for the main sentiment, popped up on foam adhesive of course. And then used an older set called Tiny Words Birthday for the secondary sentiments. Finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops for a touch of sparkle! Here are more photos of these cards:
