Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 1

Good morning! I'm super excited this month to be guest designing for Newton's Nook Designs - and this week I have the privilege of joining in with the new release! I am in love with all the darling images - and have been super impressed with the great quality. They stamp crisp and perfect every time!

For today's card, I got to play with the new set called Winston's Home for Christmas:

I used the small present to stamp in kraft ink on my kraft card base - gives a subtle pattern paper effect! Then I layered together a couple of journaling cards, stamped the adorable image and sentiment with MFT inks, and added some random machine stitching to hold them all in place. LOVE that this is a flat one layer and easy to mail card - and would be super easy to mass produce as well!

Here is the entire stamp set - SOOOO cute!

Would you like to win “Winston’s Home for Christmas”?

This set will be given away to one lucky winner!

Here's how to win:

  1. Love the layering. I always think you have to color a stamp - but that is a misconception.
The stamp looks without being colored. thanks for sharing a reminder of a technique that I never remember.
